Ertheringtons Solicitors 4.
19.11.09
Today, got home So late. 8:00 to be precise. Out for 13 hours!
Today was awesome!
Got to office today, didn't have to unstack the dishwasher...^^''
Michael was in early. It was funny seeing him type so much. Anyways. He gave me a task. Go through 100 pages of indexed notes and record everyone of the statements which included 5 Dock, Financial Statements and Annual Reports. There were 1069 statements indexed. It was...eye opening.
Zi was the receptionist. Guess what? he is the brother of my peer support leader, Michelle. the prefect, the publicity officer! Amazing how small the world is!
After going through the list, Michael told me to be ready to go to court. Paul did not object at all. He and Yvonne were going to the Family Court to help with the case there, and to lug 2 huge suitcases. He didn't want me to do slave labour again. LOL. Poor Yvonne. She was not amused.
So once again, he dumped me at Supreme Court. To take notes. Mayor Michael, Thank God, kept me company. So off I went again, taking notes like yesterday from 10 to 4. But unlike yesterday, Michael came back at 11. ^^.
Yvonne looked cynical, again. ^^. At least today, the second defendant was much more interesting to listen to, he tends to put on a show. This barrister is by the name Dawson. He is what I would like to be....if I was a guy....
Lunch was spent with Shirley and Vanessa. Everyone else, sort of died.Vanessa left and Shirley and I discussed how this work experience will in a way, make us all grow up. Work is not like school. It is much different, and working under pressure is pretty intense.
After lunch, got back to court and TOOK NOTES....^^. again.
Then went to the Law Society Library of N.S.W. So many volumes of laws!
Then after court, we went to State Library to look at old SMH articles. ^^. Want to go back there one day.
Then we spent an hour at Tom's chambers. Frederick Jordan chambers, very classy.
Caught a taxi but was stuck in traffic on the harbour bridge. LOL
Yvonne and Michael were ...bitching...^^, reminds me of high schoolers, after all, they are 23.
Then we had an argument whether deprioritise was a word. Michael won. It was a word. Yvonne and I were ... *no comment*.
He is SUCH a child sometimes...^^.. After wards, he asked me if Winifred sounded like a girl's name. I stated that the latter part sounded like a guy's. He facedpalmed, saying that "that was what Yvonne said"
Then he talked about tagging along with Yvonne on Friday, Yvonne said joining. He asked what was the difference, Yvonne looked at me and I said the difference was the connotations of the words. Yvonne smiled. Michael facepalmed again. LOL. It was FUN
Got back to office at 6:15p.m
Got home at 8:00
I really want to go back to court tomorrow. It's the last day. oh no.
